Michael Elliot wasn’t concerned when he applied for a summer internship with the local police department. Working as a forensics investigator should be a relatively safe job, especially if you're just a lowly intern. Then his first day began and he realized his classroom experience hadn't prepared him for a real-life crime scene. Textbooks and photos can't compare to the smell of blood and gunpowder. The sight of a fresh corpse made his head spin and his stomach turn. That day, Michael made a small mistake with big consequences. Now, he sees shadows moving out of the corner of his eye. Someone ... or something ... followed him home, and it's not at all happy about the city's recent murder.
